A Weekend to Remember!

From 24 to 26 April 2026, Spital am Pyhrn became the meeting point for committed

EuroPeers from Austria. This year’s EuroPeers Network Meeting was a great success – marked by intensive exchange, new ideas and a truly special atmosphere. Not only the motivated participants contributed to this success, but also the wonderful spring weather and the simply picture-perfect location surrounded by nature.

The weekend offered plenty of opportunities to spend time together, exchange ideas and bring new energy into the EuroPeers network. In an open and inspiring atmosphere, participants discussed, laughed, sang and worked together on new ideas and projects.

Spital am Pyhrn proved to be an ideal setting for creative work – both in the seminar rooms and outdoors in nature. Thanks to the sunny weather, many sessions took place outside, adding even more energy and EuroPeers spirit.

The focus was on the participants’ experiences and ideas:

• New activities and projects were developed together
• Engagement was made visible and further strengthened
• Space was created for inspiration, exchange and concrete planning

Current developments in the national and European EuroPeers network as well as in EU youth programmes were also presented and discussed.

A special highlight: The network meeting took place within the framework of the European Youth Week 2026, held under the motto “Solidarity and Fairness” – values that are actively lived within the EuroPeers network.

In addition, 2026 is a very special year:
20 years of the EuroPeers network and 30 years of EU Youth Volunteering. This anniversary year thrives on the ideas and commitment of EuroPeers – and this was clearly felt throughout the weekend in Spital am Pyhrn.

We’re already looking forward to what’s next for the Austrian EuroPeers network!
