The Dobrogea’s Caravan
Europeers Romania visited one of the most eastern point of European Union to promote youth opportunities in hardly accessible Danube Delta.
Between September 13 and 16, 2023, Europeers Romania joined the Dobrogea Caravan, an initiative organized by the GEYC Association, in the cities of Sulina and Tulcea, which are located at the eastern end of the European Union, in the superb natural landscape of the Danube Delta. Here, the participating Europeers had the opportunity to share their experience about Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps, the 2 successful programs funded by the European Commission.
The young people from the high schools in these two cities were given concrete examples from the previous experiences of romanian Europeeers, such as Solidarity Projects, Youth Exchanges, Volunteer programs, but also the new Discover EU program.
At the same time, this was also an opportunity for young Romanian Europeers to discover more deeply the area of Dobrogea, as well as its natural, superb land in the Danube Delta. All in all, we can say that this experience was a victory, both for the young people in the area and for the members of Europeers Romania.
