New EuroPeers Join the Network!

Over three days, from March 7 to 9, 2025, the Agency for International Youth Programs (JSPA) met 20 amazing, active, and motivated young people with experience in European Union (EU) programs such as Erasmus+ or the European Solidarity Corps. These individuals are eager to join the EuroPeers youth ambassador network.

The training leaders, Kristīne Vilcāne and Sigita Skujiņa-Braža, designed activities and tasks for the new EuroPeers network members, allowing them to:

• Understand their roles, responsibilities, and tasks as EuroPeers;
• Share their personal experiences in youth projects;
• Strengthen their knowledge of opportunities available through EU programs for young people;
• Reflect on the skills necessary for planning, organizing, and implementing successful and informative educational activities and events;
• Address inclusion-related issues and their importance in everyday life and society;
• Enhance their knowledge about the YouthPass certificate and the evaluation of competencies;
• Connect with existing EuroPeers to foster a united community;
• Celebrate their opportunity to join the network and begin a more active involvement in organizing events and activities for their peers!

Now, they are Committed to motivate other young people to take part in EU programs, as peer support is invaluable when stepping into the unknown.
