Ice Cream and Infos to Go | Austrian Action in Eisenstadt
An action in a region with little outgoing volunteers and young people in ESC/Erasmus+ activities
On the 26th of April Sophie, Andreas and Simon from the Austrian network went by train to the east of Austria: to Eisenstadt, the eastermost federate state capital with more or less 16.000 inhabitants. Hardly any people use the ESC and Erasmus+ Youth programms in this state named “Burgenland”. This is why it was even more important to go there to spread the word.
In the city we bought ice cream, blueberries and strawberries and handed those items out to teenagers in the city center and near to several highschools. Additionally, we informed them about their option to go abroad with the ESC, handed them brochures and told them to connect with their regional office on Instagram. Approximately 40 young people were reached in this EuroPeer action.
This activity was made possible by a funding from the European Youth Week.
