News from the Eastbelgian Network

Ostbelgien is a small region of about 79,000 inhabitants in the East of Belgium. The official language is German and the community has its own institutions, i.e. a Parliament, a government.
We joined the EuroPeers network in 2021 and we currently have one active EuroPeer. However, every year, several young people gain experiences abroad thanks to Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.
In order to become part of our network, you simply have to contact the national coordinator, Michelle Krings, at Jugendbüro, the National Agency of Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps. We will give you more information about the network and send you to an international training course where you will be able to get to know other EuroPeers from all over Europe and learn more about the opportunities of the network.
EuroPeers Ostbelgien is a growing network. We are organising local events to gather EuroPeers and volunteers in our region to mingle and have a good time. Furthermore, we grabbed some podcast episodes in German with volunteers where they talk about their international experience. They can be found on Spotify.
