Join EuroPeers Working Group: “EuroPeers Wiki”. Apply now!
The EuroPeers Network is launching an international working group on EuroPeers Wikimedia. Its aim is to create and support EuroPeers collaborative wikimedia page, where EuroPeers from different EuroPeers network countries can exchange and learn information and best practice about their experience and national networks peer-to-peer.
We are looking for members to join the EuroPeers Network Working Grop “EuroPeers Wiki”
About the working group
The EuroPeers Network is launching an international working group for working on the EuroPeers Wiki. Its aim is to create and design the initial content for a collaborative EuroPeers wiki, where EuroPeers from different EuroPeers network countries can exchange best practices from their work as EuroPeers. This wiki will enable us as a network to manage our knowledge in a structured manner. Consequently, this will ease the onboarding of new members and management of digital materials between EuroPeers. This will enable EuroPeers to reuse materials and learn from experience from others.
The working group size is planned to be 8-10 members.
Who can apply
We are looking for EuroPeers who:
- have interest in working with a wiki system (presumably DokuWiki or MediaWiki)
- want to contribute ideas for the wiki’s structure and content
- are motivated to organise the network’s knowledge management and best practice exchange
- can participate and contribute in English
- can commit to being part of a small international team and attend regular online meetings
- Previous experience is a plus. Motivation, pro-activeness and reliability matter most.
What members will do
As a member of the working group, you will:
- attend an in-person hackathon to kickstart the project
- join regular online meetings
- contribute ideas and help to develop EuroPeers Wiki as part of the international work group
- work on the wiki’s design and content
- work out a guide that will enable other EuroPeers to contribute to the Wiki
- reach out to fellow EuroPeers and motivate them to contribute their materials and best practices to the wiki
- reflect on the impact of the project and pave the way to continuous evolution of the wiki as our main platform for knowledge management
- if particularly interested into technology, design and implement the technical foundations of the project
- work together with other EuroPeers, the Process Facilitator and the International Network Coordinator
Time commitment
The group is expected to meet online regularly throughout the working period. Members should be ready for recurring meetings, ability to work individually and as a group and carry out agreed tasks. Most of the contributions can be made at times of your own choosing between the meetings.
Working period
Start date: April 2026
End date: Until 31 December 2026, with a possibility to extend for another period until the end of 2027
