Becoming a EuroPeer: Share Your Story, Inspire Others
Have you participated in an Erasmus+ Youth or European Solidarity Corps project?
Maybe you joined a youth exchange, took part in a volunteering project, travelled through
DiscoverEU or implemented a solidarity initiative. If so, you probably came back home with
new experiences, memories, friendships and a different perspective on Europe.
But what happens after the project ends?
Are you interested in staying involved and sharing your experiences with others? For many young people across Europe, the answer is simple: they become EuroPeers.
If you can imagine telling other young people about your European experiences and encouraging them to try and expand their horizons, we warmly invite you to become a EuroPeer!
EuroPeers are young people who have already experienced European mobility opportunities
and now use their voice and experiences to bring these opportunities closer to others.
Through school visits, workshops, social media content, local events and personal
storytelling, they help make Europe feel more accessible, relatable and real for young
people.
This September, young people from different EuroPeer network countries will gather in Liepaja,
Latvia, for the international training course “Becoming a EuroPeer”, taking place between
22–28 September 2026.
The training course is designed for young people who want to continue their European
journey by sharing their experiences with others and encouraging more young people to
discover Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps opportunities.
During the training, participants will:
- learn how to organize EuroPeer activities and workshops
- explore creative ways of storytelling and peer-to-peer communication
- deepen their understanding of European youth programmes
- connect with young people from across Europe
- become part of the growing international EuroPeers network
The training course also creates a space for intercultural learning, exchange of ideas and
meaningful connections between participants coming from different backgrounds and
countries.
At the end of the training, participants will receive a Youthpass certificate and, depending on
the conditions in their network country, may become members of their national
EuroPeers network.
