Local event to promote youth councils as a democratic, innovative and participatory tool into the policy-making process.
Would you like to actively participate in your local area’s political and social life? Perhaps getting to know and engage with other young people, local administrators and political institutions on the issues that interest you? Would you like to discover and experience the tool of local youth councils as a means of democratic participation? If the answer is yes, Europiamo is pleased to invite you on October 7 to Europa Experience – David Sassoli from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to participate in a day of workshops and activities with other young people and local decision makers. Together we will discover and understand how youth councils work as an innovative and engaging democratic participation tool; you will learn and gain new knowledge, skills, and tools to influence the process and policy-making at the local level, getting active and creating a positive impact in your community; and most importantly, you will have the opportunity to engage and dialogue with young people in your area and policymakers about your needs in your community.
