The second creativity afternoon of Latvian EuroPeers network

On May 9, 2024, the “EuroPeers” youth network of ambassadors coordinated by the International Youth Program Agency (JSPA) in cooperation with the Sigulda Youth Initiative Center “Mērķis” implemented a “EuroPeers” co-creation afternoon event for young people “My European postcard – 20 years in the EU”. The theme of the event was Europe Day and the message of young people to the European Union.

Within the framework of the event, we celebrated Europe Day, informed about opportunities for young people in the “Erasmus+” and “European Solidarity Corps” programs, as well as reflected on participation in the upcoming European Parliament elections.

Young people had the opportunity to get to know the project opportunities provided by the European Union’s youth programs, listening to stories of experiences from EuroPeers youth ambassadors.

Together with the artist Zinaīda Ceska, it was possible to express one’s artistic feelings by creating postcards with one’s reflection and message to Europe, pointing to memories, experiences, and belonging to the European community.

In the co-creation afternoon of “EuroPeers” “My European postcard – 20 years in the EU”, young people from the European Parliament Ambassadors Club of Sigulda City High School also participated, organizing knowledge testing activities about European Union member states and values, diversity.
